HSI Grants & Initiatives Overview

Since 2015, UC Santa Cruz has earned eight Department of Education Hispanic-Serving Institution grants as the lead campus, subawardee or supplemental award. Grant funds programs and resources that promote educational equity, cultural inclusivity, and academic achievement.

HSI Initiatives uses an Integrated Logic Model to unify their programs across all grants and their work toward equity, for students’ college and career pathways and for institutional change.
