Transfer Scholars Pathways (TSP) is a year-long program that offers prospective UCSC transfer students intentional support with goal setting, career/major exploration, and navigating the path from Community College to UC Santa Cruz.
TSP Annual Program Cycle:
Year round, the CCPP staff visit our partner community college campuses to increase visibility of CCPP.
- April: the official TSP Application Form opens, and students who are ready to apply to a UC, for the following academic year, can fill out the TSP application to be paired with a UCSC peer mentor. Click here to apply for the current cohort! The application will close at 9 AM on Monday, April 22.
- May: Transfer Transition Day (a welcome event)
- June: Mentorship begins with setting academic goals and intentions for the next year.
- July: Career Exploration Day
- October: Experiential Academy
- February: Dia de la Familia
- May: Transfer Transition Day (an end-of-program event - the same event incoming TSP students are invited to attend - as a full circle!)
TSP is for students who are interested in applying for admission into a University of California. Students can be anywhere in their educational journey - a high school student, students in their first year at community college, and transfer-ready students, can indicate their interest in learning more about TSP. The 1:1 mentorship is reserved for transfer-ready students (i.e completing their last year at community college), but the events are open to all students who intend to join the TSP community in the near future.
